Marks

The eyes are negative space, not painted black — the mark sits on any ground without a halo. Below its minimum size, always use the face alone; the ring closes up and turns into a blob.

The default mark on dark ground. Favicons, app icons, hem prints.

The wordmark is live text, not outlines — selectable, searchable, and set at any size without a second file. Set it in DM Serif Display, uppercase, tracked to 0.05em.

Palette

Black is the ground, bone is the ink, and conduit purple belongs to the mark. Purple never sets body copy and never fills a large area — the moment it becomes a general accent, the mark stops being the loudest thing on the page.

Icons

One 24-unit grid, one stroke weight, one cap style. The weight lives on the renderer and not on any individual glyph, so no icon can drift off the family.

Never an emoji. An emoji is somebody else’s artwork, it renders differently on every platform, and it cannot inherit weight or colour.
